Full Time FileMaker Programmer / Developer Wanted in Philadelphia Area
Position designing, implementing & deploying FM Pro v. 5/6/7/8 databases for 12 year old small business in VAlley Forge, PA & surrounding Philly area. Helpful Qualifications: FileMaker Pro (1+ years FM experience necessary), AppleScript, Mac OSX. Good Pay! 20K-75K Pay determined by your level of FileMaker expertise.
Position Details
Creating, modifying, and supporting FileMaker Pro databases
Job involves being in front of the client in suit and tie at the customer's location throughout the Philadelphia area 4 out of 5 days a week. (Customers are located throughout the Philadelphia area; Exton, Chesterbrook, King of Prussia, Horsham, Downtown Philly , etc.) The 5th day is often a day you can telecommute provided work productivity remains high from your home office.
2 Weeks vacation + holidays (Holidays include; Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thurs & Fri - Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Day, +1 Floater to use at your discretion.)

This involves communicating with the client in such a way as to grasp their needs in just a few short conversations. The ability to capture the details of the project efficiently is a must, so as to gather a full understanding of their needs without the customer sometimes being able to explain how they may want it built, but rather knowing exactly what their end requirements are. That's our job. Communication and good programming standards are must!
